How did I manage to be where I am right now. In L.A.

8 simple steps:

1. Be very bored/frustrated with your current work and life
2. Come up with the idea to study Film Production in L.A.
3. Have enough money to afford some time without work
4. Find all the necessary puzzle pieces to apply to film school
5. Be accepted by film school
6. Apply for and get a student visa
7. Reduce your belongings to a bare minimum and leave everything else behind
8. Move to L.A.

See it as an adventure and be ready to jump into the void not knowing if you ever manage to come out again.

Have a backup plan, if somethings fails along the line. Mine was sipping cocktails on a beach in Hawaii for a year.
